I deleted my memory on my xbox 360 and now my memory can.t read my xbox what to do now

Please be more specific? Did you have it saved to your a memory card or to your hard drive? If you had it saved to either and you DELETED the memory, there is no way to recover it.

It seems the xbox 360 wont read the disc... every time i go to play a game alls it says is open tray... and the game never loads..

I have had the same issue and it turned out to be my hard drive. If you take the hard drive off the xbox, it will read the disk right? Then replace hard drive and the problem comes back? I stopped using the hard drive and I now use the little save cards that go into the front of the xbox. hope this helps.

After i updated my xbox my save information that i had ofline wont play on my profile. so all the game save data is on my hard drive but it wont let me select missions in games i already beat. so the...

There are a few things I can think of that may be causing the problems...

1: The data on your hard drive has been corrupt some way. (Usually happens if you touch the hard drive's plug in with your fingers or a piece of metal) you will have to buy a new hard drive (recommend a 1st party one to save you time and stress)

2: Your using a 3rd party unauthorized hard drive and after the february or november update (can't quite remember) all unauthorized memory units are automatically locked and all data in that memory unit becomes corrupt and unable to read just about all data on it... (Just buy a 1st party as it will save you time and stress)

3: You have been banned from xbox live... When you get banned microsoft locks your hard drive just like explanation 2 EXCEPT this effects 1st party hard drives aswell... I'm not quite sure about this but I think it also locks out any hard drive/memory card you put in it ever again... If youve been banned then I would recommend either buying and elite (for the 120gb hard drive, headset, live bundle) or a pro.

Over all I'm 99% sure that you can't salvage your game data... sorry.

Hi my name is Juan not all 360 have a hard drive on it look on the model # and see which one you got the core model has no hard drive and this is probably why is asking you for a memory card or usb drive so the best solution is to go to settings and see if you have a hard drive and if you do you can probably formatted and see if this way the system will detected thanks and good luck

Try saving your profile and game to a memory card, clean out your cache and put the game info back on your drive. Is your hard drive too full? Also have you ever had the console fixed? any reading errors on your disk?

Profile transfer from old 20gb hard drive to 60gb one

When you turn on your new 360 (the 60 GB one), there will be an option on the dashboard that reads "Recover Gamertag". As long as you are connected to the internet, follow the instructions laid out. Just press A on the recover gamertag option; it will then ask for your gamertag, the e-mail address associated with it, and maybe a few other things. After that is completed, just wait for the switch to occur. It usually takes about 5-15 minutes or so, so just be patient. If you do not have internet access, you will need to purchase a 360 memory card. You can then go to the memory option on the last blade of the xbox 360 dashboard (the purple one to the right) and copy it from there. It will then be on your memory card. Then just do the same process to copy it from the card to the new xbox. You will also need to use the memory card if you plan on copying saved game files.

Memory cards not being read

Im having the same memory card issue. I booted up the system again yesterday and I logged in fine, then I got kicked and now it's also not reading my memory card. Which sucks because our profiles are on it, so recovering the gamertag seems like the smart thing to do at least for the one that has xbox live, but then guess what? Nope, can't connect.
