Kitchenaid KUDP01 not cleaning dishes

The kitchen aide dishwasher is simply not cleaning dishes. We had a new motor assembly put on about a year ago and now its doing the same thing. The warranty is out so I basically just need to know what part to replace. It appears there is not enough 'pressure' in the water to clean dishes, it puts out water but there is no pressure at all. Nothing gets clean on the top rack, the bottom is so so and the place that holds soap, seldom all the soap is out, it leaves soap in the trey, so there is not enough pressure inside the dishwasher when washing to even hit the door hard enough to get the soap out of dispenser.

Remove the accumulator assembly and check the chopper to see whether it's clogged or damaged.

My Kitchen Aid Dishwasher model # KUDS40FVSS0 has blinking cancel, sani-rinse and normal wash lights. It will not run at all. We replace the control board and still nothing. Please Help!!!

I have had this problem. Mine didn't work for over a week and by the time the repair man came over to 'replace the board' it suddenly worked. The guy told me that if you use ANY type of liquid dishwashing soap (for your sink) and any residue/bubble is on the dishes, it can cause your dishwasher to break. I have no idea why but I've been really careful to make sure I wasn't using dish soap prior to putting them in the washer.

I've had 3 service calls on this dishwasher since I purchased it 3 years ago. I'm having similar service issues with my Kitchen Aid Fridge. And of course no help from Kitchen Aid.

It may be full of crud under screen. Remove lower spray arm, tower up to top, covers and you will see where the entrance to the impeller is full of stuff.

Sounds like it could be the bearing in the wash motor. If the sound is only present when you can hear water being thrown around then this would confirm it. Not sure about spares availability on a 7yr old machine though

TOP SPIN ARM NOT SPINNING TO CLEAN TOP RACK OF MY KITCHEN AID DISHWASHER. IT IS ONLY 1 1/2 YEARS OLD AND MY TOP TACK IS SUDDENLY NOT CLEANING

Hi.

First ensure that the arm is not getting stuck, and check that the orifices are free.

When the top arm is not spinning you may need to replace pump and motor assembly. First it is good looking for blockage in pump hose.

If the appliance is less than two year old, then it may be covered by limited warranty. Call Kitchenaid at the number listed in the owners manual to verify your warranty status.

Regards.

My Kitchen Aid KUDI01FLBL3 is not cleaning my

Most likely there is debris at the pump impeller. This model has a problem with debris and grease accumulation at the pump inlet. I have no idea how it gets past the screen but it does. Remove the transfer tube on the back wall, the lower sprayer, and screen assembly. Clean out the debris and reverse installation.
