what exact type of batteries are best for this camera? I don't have a problem yet but the manual isn't clear as to which batteries to use ---nicad lithium or alkalines?

if there is no specification then u can use any good battery for your camera ..it can either be a nicad lithium or alkalines.. because each has its own unique characteristics
