I believe there is actually an access panel in front of the second row seat behind the drivers seat that you can access the top of the tank, fuel pump and possibly the fuel filter. Lift up the carpeting and check.
1. Remove the fuel tank cap to lower the fuel tank's internal pressure. 2. Locate access cover. 3. Remove the fuel pump & fuel filter assembly installation screws, then remove the fuel pump & fuel filter assembly from the fuel tank.

SOURCE: 2004 Kia Sedona keeps stalling

Your problem sounds like you have a bad crankshaft position sensor. You will not get a trouble code (check engine light). This will cause the vehicle to suddenly stall. You cannot change the idle on this vehicle, or any FI modern vehicle contrary to a previous post. It is controlled by the engine management computer by way of an idle air control circuit on the throttle body.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 04 sedona

No external filter used on your model.
Most companies stopped using filters in 2001.
There is a screen at the end of the fuel pump in the tank but not normally replaced.
