Only if the manufacturers warranty is for over 14 months. Industry standards are ususally 3-12 months. A Clutch is a wear item that can go bad from abuse, so it is unlikely there is any warranty.

SOURCE: cluch does not bite until

This happens with heavy duty clutches, when there is air in the clutch hydraulic lines. Firstly bleed the clutch lines and see what happens.

automatic clutch adjustment is in the cable ,this is not something you can repair, only course of action is a new clutch cable so take it back to garage that fitted clutch and ask nicely see if they diagnose the same problem .

Do i have rights if my new clutch lasted just over a year?

Hard to say, you would have to be able to prove that they did not install properly, as opposed to your driving style causing a failure. If the failure was with the clutch material then they will likely state that you have been riding the clutch (keeping your foot on the clutch pedal while driving) or engaging the clutch to slowly and allowing to slip. Your best bet if you are seeking to have it replaced would be to get another independant mechanic to have a quick look.

I have a 99 ford F550, and have replaced the clutch on it 3 times in the last 5 months. I do not understand why it keeps going out. This issue has been very frustrating and expensive. Is there an...

many clutch issues and I take it you are referring to a slipping clutch originate in a faulty clutch master cylinder where the compensating port is blocked
if you have not fitted a new clutch master cylinder try that
another thing is that an f550 is a heavy duty truck so clutch work will require a flywheel machining and a heavy duty clutch pressure plate not an every day clutch kit

Peugeot 106 1.5D. the clutch was slipping so new clutch fitted 2 weeks ago. It was still slipping so that garage replaced the clutch again. Guess what? It is still slipping. Any idea what is going on?

Yes clutch pedal should start to drive about 1inch off the floor and when driving keep your foot away from the pedal,/ also when new clutch is fitted did they fit a complete clutch assy /and did they surface grind the flywheel as if it was badly worn on the 1st one then the new one wouldent last very long.
as when the clutch starts to drive 1" from the floor clutch is good /when it engages right out its buggered and slips so ask about the f/wheel
