Here are some to try, mine was 0189, but there are many to try. 0051 0189 0053 0198 1070 1024 1023. I think some listed codes for Emerson work as well.

I heard that LG TVs have a problem with the TV not responding to the remote control (there is nothing wrong with the remote control). Hopefully your TV is still under the 2 year warranty. Go to LGService.com and report the problem. They told me that it's a common problem. They need to order the part and let me know when it comes in. (my TV is a LG 50PC1DRA)
The Akai TV might have LG guts inside.

I can confirm that the 0441 code does indeed work for the Xbox 360 Universal Remote. I just programmed it and it works perfectly. Thanks to the person that first posted that code!

if you ask me. Hope this helped. The code that worked for the Akai
