Question about Refrigerators
Last night, the icemaker on my Roper RT21LMXKQ03 started leaking, apparently where the water enters the icemaker in the top freezer. May have leaked for 15 minutes or more before I realized it. This morning, woke to find that the freezer is not freezing, and only as cold as the fridge. I only see a temp control for the fridge, so doesn't seem like I just bumped some setting. Could the leak have done something to the freezer?
. The most common problem is a bad start relay on the compressor. In rare cases the compressor may be bad. If you are mechanically inclined you can replace the relay yourself for less than 50 dollars. You will need model and serial number off of the unit and order the part by those numbers. if the compressor is bad you will need to hire a good service company
