Blackberry 8320 Camera not working

I have a Blackberry 8320 Curve the camera worked and all of a sudden it stopped working. Phone was not dropped, did not get wet, or mistreated in anyway. I have tried hard resets, reinstalled my software back to 4.5 OS, cleared the cookies, cleared tasks, closed out out of any applications that I could, but nothing works. I could take it to a T-Mobile store but A. It's out of warranty and 2. I don't think it is a hardware issue because it was working before and I haven't done anything to change the camera settings or abused the phone. Can you help? Thanks

This is the initial sign of the camera coming loose from the socket on the main board.

If it still in warranty then send it out for repair.

If it's out of the warranty then you can put a foam or plastic spacer to under the battery cover.

Just like the battery foam pad under the battery cord to give it firm support.

Place few tab of supporting material under the battery cover. Make sure they does not cover the lense or the flash.

    Next
time the camera give you the error message again or ghost like image.

    Take the battery
out and press the camera and flash area firmly until you hear a soft
    plastic snap sound.

YOU MAKE HAVE TO DO THIS MANY TIMES

Once the camera contacts snap back in place then your are back in business.

SOURCE: Keys Not Working after Water

there is an area under the track ball that goes bad if it get's wet. Cleaning that area with a brush can sometime get it up and running again. If you're out of warranty try to remove the trackball and clean the area below it if necessary. There is a Blackberry Repair Guide that shows how to open a Blackberry and remove the track ball yourself.

SOURCE: blackberry curve 8320 wont charge? Keep sayin

Have you tried different chargers?
It's either the voltage regulator in your curve or a very weak almost dead battery.
You can test the batt if you have a friend with a curve, swap batteries in your phones and if yours works again and his does what yours did, get a new battery and all is well. If yours keeps acting up with the swapped battery, it may be time to get a new phone.

My camera freezes up my phone when i try to open it on blackberry 8320

This is a camera chip module problem OR camera software problem. First, try to reset your phone to factory defaults. If that doesn't help, have your phone's ROM reflashed. If that doesn't help. Your phone's camera chip is probably busted. You can have it fixed, not cheap though... if your phone is still under warranty, better phone your carrier or blackberry for warranty claim

My camera on my blackberry curve is not working. ]

I found this solution on Blackberry forums. You'll need to take the battery cover off, and then push on the camera lens, or more accurately, the ring surrounding the camera lens. You should see the image corrected. I just tried it on mine, and it worked like a charm. Easy, cheap, quick fix.

I'd be curious to know if it's an electrical problem, a lighting problem (most likely) or a physical lens issue (focus).

Anyway, try it - it should work.
