Re: Washer went out of balance and now the door will not...

Likely that your pump hasn't let all the water out; try getting your outlet hose from the wall pipe and place into a bucket low to the ground; let water come out, your door will open after a short while. Do not force the door. After the water does come out then make sure your pump or drain hose is not blocked. Also clean out your outlet filter.

I replaced all balance springs. Still don't balance?

The washer is dancing across the room? Are the transit brackets removed? One on the motor, one across the top. Never known springs that needed replacing. With the top of the drum should move left and right a lot and backwards and forwards a little.

The washer must be level left to right and back to front. All four feet must be adjusted to sit evenly under the same pressure.

Bulky items or single large items will cause uneven balance. A normal load of socks, underwear, shirts, and a coupe of dish towels should keep balance as a test.

I want to unlock my door

Manually Unlocking the Door Lock System
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 2. Remove the lower kick panel. 3. Reach up along the inside of the front and locate the bottom of the door switch/lock unit. 4. Located on the bottom of the door switch/lock unit is a tear-drop shaped tab. 5. Gently pull the tab down about a ¼" or until a click is heard. 6. The door may be opened.

Top loader door wont open

Something has caused the washer to not release the door. Is there an error code that is flashing (FE?). A locked door can be due to too much water in the basket, suds causing false water detection (should be using HE), or perhaps the drain is clogged.

If you are sure that the water is not going to spill out on floor, then you might be able to get door open by unplugging the unit and waiting a few minutes (mine took an hour) for the electric lock to release.

Door clicks and wont open and washer runs but wont do anything

Potential reasons for it: - Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure - In this case it should be replaced. - Door Lock unit is broken or removed from the door. - Look for disconnected wires to the door Lock/Switch unit. - Door Lock/Switch unit Failure You should remove machine's top cover and then you will have an access to the door lock unit. Be aware you should discconect machine's power cable first !! Good luck!
