Every time is occurs I have to reinstall to reconnect to the scanner and it works for a couple of days. Then without notice or reason it will give me the error. I am very frustrated with this and hope someone has a solution!!!

go to www.hp.com and use the support link to download a new driver for your printer. it might help, if that didnt work take it to a shop for servicing. thanks
