Question about Hilti TE 7-C 120V Rotary Hammer Drill
I have a hammer drill 76 ps atc, and I would like to know what the problem that the light of service remains turned and the hammer doesn't work
Hi . The solution offered by rowdy (pull the trigger and hold it until light goes out) will only work on older machines, the newer machines have more complex electronics that need reseting using an optical reader which plugs into a PC , you will also need the Hilti ODA Software. this is not available to the general public. you may have to send it back to hilti for service and reset. this is free if the machine is less than 2 years old.

The light remaining on means that the tool needs serviced. I would check the brushes first for wear and if worn excessively it needs to be sent for service ( brushes, o rings and lube) If not bad the switch could be bad and the service light needs to be reset. Let me know and I will try and help
