right click my computer
Hardware Tab
Load up Device Manager
Find the sound device
Right Click
Uninstall Driver
Restart Computer
Go Here and get the driver http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/
(Notebook , Aspire , Aspire 4730Z , Select Windows Xp From Drop Down Menu and then Drivers will show
Reinstall Driver
Restart Computer
