For that you need a network interface card(nic) installed on all the computers and a router for data transfer between the pcs. The pcs can be connected with ethernet cables to the router. U also need the software to configure the network

Im out of the office right now but in the office, we needed to change setting of L230 from fixed ip to dhcp. we know how to do it and can get into the device but its not taling in the changes. we cant...

Try unplugging it from the network, make the changes, and see if it holds. Also, change the Static IP to some other network, say 192.168.1.1 just to see if it takes. Make sure you're making the changes FROM the device, while physically in front of the device, NOT from their console.

I have DSL-2640T router. I can't use the default ip address of that router ie. 192.168.1.1. I have a laptop. I want to join the laptop in my office through wireless. I don't know to make that router...

You could setup two different profiles, one for each wireless router.
Configure your home wireless router with a different SSID and encryption setting to the office wireless router.
Then configure the wireless card in your laptop with two different profiles, one for the office wireless router and one for the home wireless router. When you want to use the home or the office wireless router, just call up the profile you require.

I want to connect at home

Around the office, your laptop is probably connected to a wireless network which you don't have at home. To connect, you would need to connect to the office network from your home through a VPN (Virtual Private Network) over the Internet or through a dial-up (ugh!) connection to the office systems. Your office IT staff should be able to help you get that set up since either way it would require some configuration on their end to allow you to connect remotely to the office systems.

Need help setting up printer on a network

Set a compatible IP address on machine:
"user tools"
"system settings"
"interface settings"
"IP address" (set compatible number)
"subnet mask" (set the right one)

Download driver if it's not done already, create the matching tcp/ip port, and continue with installation. Select "share this printer".

Driver is here if you need it:

"System settings"
"interface settings"
Press the "ip address" button and set.

The model cross references to a Ricoh MP C3000 (Ricoh builds all Savin machines). You can get all the manuals here:

Connet my home pc

obviously, you cannot use a cable to link up from your office network.
1 know your provider and the kind of WAN service offered
2.Get a router that is compatible with your office network and configure your router with similar priorities with that of your officce network(a wireless radio might be require)

or if you are not vast networking, invite a network administrator to do it for u
