I assume this is a laptop? the problem with laptop screens are the thin ribbon that they use to connect to the motherboard, on some laptops this is very close to the hing and after long use can become frail which breaks the data busses. Without actually seeing your laptop i could not give you a definiate answer but i would bet on your ribbon being damaged, these can be very cheep to find on ebay. It will take some skill to replace the wire though as you will have to dismantle the laptop case to get to the back of the screen, if you are not experienced in this i suggest taking your laptop to your local computer repair centre.

MY DISPLAY SCREEN DONT DISPLAY ANY COLOR AND WHEN IT DOES IT LOOKS LIKE A NEGATIVE. WANT TO FACTORY RESET BACK TO DEFAULT.

Hi
hope you have fixed the problem by now.
But in case you can try resetting the parameter ram by simultaneously pressing the Option - Command - P - R keys. All four at the same time.

Turn on your Mac and immediately press and hold the Option-Command - P - R keys. You must press the keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold the keys until the computer restarts, and you hear the startup sound a second time.

Hope this helps

Display probelm

After reading your issue,i am sure that there is problem with your motherboard.
as you cannot see anything on screen and you get power, that means your motherboard is faulty
so just get your motherboard replaced and it will be fine as before
Thanks

Hello, please when i put no my sony vaio notebook, the colors are mixed on my screen, i have changed the screen and the screen cable but the problem is still there

Try taking out one ram stick at a time in between boots. It sounds like you make a bad stick of ram and that is causing video issues. Just a thought.

Display

your laptop display mass color, it is not the issue of inverter.
there are two situations:
1) mass color you can not see any messages like letter or picture
2) mass color with some or any messages you can see.
above situations you need to check LCD sreen cable connection between LCD socket and the motherboard socket, plug back properly.if not fixed, there are some tips you may consider:
1) change the Ram if the display ram is not isolated.
2) the LCD cable damage need to change or
3) LCD screen damage need to change or
4) finally the motherboard display chips damage(rare)

Colors in QL-711V shifted to green

Hi, I had the same problem and I wrote an email to Nu. They wrote me back that I should use the Factory reset feature which you have to go through the Factory Menu to get to. Instructions to do this are as follows. I got to the menu my first try but it has been a pain to get back to it. I hope it will be easier to access for yours.

Hope this helps

Screen

If you have access to an external monitor, you might want to hook that up to your laptop and try it. If the display looks good on the external monitor (which I would suspect that it will) then, you may have a loose LCD cable, a worn cable or a bad LCD display. Try reseating the connector. With the LCD cover off & power on, carefully wiggle and flex the cable and see if there is any change in the display. If not, your LCD display is probably going bad on you.
Hope the rest of your day goes better!
