My fuji s7000 zoom has coloured wavey lines when turned on. It goes back to normal intermitantly but at the moment it is constant Ian

Hi Ian.

If the lines are reproduced in the pictures taken, then the image sensor located behind the lens is starting to fail. The problem will usually get progressively worse until you won't be able to shoot regular pictures anymore.

Call Fuji and ask about repair. You can get a quote from a third party here: Repair.

Is there an easier way to access the water pump than turning the machine upside down? we havn't found any of the panels that are easily removed. thank you. rvclay

Hi,

No, unfortunately that is pretty much how you get to it. If you can tilt the unit back about 45 degrees and block it up so it wont tip on you, its not too bad to get at while laying on the floor. just try to get it back far enough that the remaining water is below the pump.

Hope that helps
good luck

I have had this camera for a few weeks and have taken only about 40 pictures on it. went to use it yesterday and the picture quality went from great to aweful and my flash wont work! extremely...

Walmart has a policy exchange program that is over the counter, I would make full use of it because they will replace your camera. By your description the camera has two issues, and there is nothing that can be done to remedy the situation.

Nikon d80 shows err message. still after full reset it wont work

Check if your battery is charged. Are there any error messages? Otherwise, if your lens has an aperture ring, do note that most of these lenses require the ring to be locked at a certain position for it to work. In the course of using the lens, you may have accidentally unlocked the aperture ring and moved it out of position. This is a common problem.

To fix this error, try this:

1. Turn off camera
2. Turn the aperture ring clockwise and then lock it
3. Turn on the camera

If you still encounter the same problem, repeat the same steps but turn the aperture ring counter-clockwise. Hope this helps.

Events taken

Events are not the same thing as pictures. I am not sure what makes the event counter move but I have 17 of these cameras and have used them for several years and most of my cameras have over 1500 events. I think an event is logged when it takes the first photo but an animal can remain in the area taking more photos which will show on the picture total. The evnt counter must have to be dormant for some period before it will register as a new event. Let the camera cycle through each counter and I believe the picture total is displayed after the events.

Don't worry about your event counter just the picture counter. I hope this helps.
