Install the correct printer driver, it is in the Windows listed drivers, tell the computer which printer port to select, make sure that the cables are connected correctly, tell the program which printer you wish to print to, and it should work from there.
The default paper height is 12". If you want to change it to 11" you should refer to printer manual and follow the steps. Otherwise if you are using a software for printing. Ask your developer to give following command for setting paper height

Driver could be corrupt. Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
