Question about Canon Pixma MP500 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I did try to re-fill the cartridge and had not a clue what i was doing. so...i assume it has something to do w/ that.
You have to be vwery careful when refilling a cartridge. If you overfill, you will have to throw away the cartridge and buy a new cartridge. Worse, the ink might overflow and short the contact points. In that case you have to remove the cartridge and wipe the contact points with a lint-free soft cloth moistened with a cleaning liquid (I use surgical spirit). Good luck!
