Question about LG Heating & Cooling
New split system will shut down and then will not work or turn off. This usually happens after 2 hours sometimes more sometimes . It comes up with C6 and you have to turn off at circuit board.Tech came out twice ,first tome replaced the board -the second he replaced the condensor. The unit is exactly the same, just comes up with c6. He told me there is really not any more he can do . Very dissapionted and infuriated. It is not 12 months old yet.
There are two reasons for this one is that there is a "DC PEAK ERROR" meaning that there is a communication failure between indoor and outdoor pc board and not a condenser failure. The second could be that the indoor outlet sensor is faulty or is being missed by the intergrated circuit board. Either way I would look at the indoor pc board replacement. Hope this helps

Please get some technicians that actually know what they are doing. we have had two also and say there is no problem. they dont have to sit in the heat for two hours till it comes back on. we paid top doller for this and this is what we get. what has happened to quality these days.
