Question about Televison & Video
I have a Samsung LCD TV and wish to connect a pair of computer type speakers and disable the TV speakers. I have a standard audio jack and a 2 pin AV adaptor. Can't find where to plug it in so it works. TV is a LA55A950D1FXXY LED/LCD. Doesn't appear to have a headphone jack and can't see any audio/out plug other than an ''optical audio output'' whatever that is. Unusual fitting. Appreciate any help.
If it does not have anything besides optical it will not work unless you have a system capable of optical input (some Logitechs have it, but don't remember which ones, i know that the Z-5500 does certainly have it but that's not too cheap).
Weird that it doesn't have a a headphone jack indeed. But if it doesn't, that optical digital out is the only way to connect it.
