Thank you, do you know how to adjust the sensor so that it is more sensitive. I want it to keep my sump dry. I hate having stagnant water in my basement. I have a feeling you may just say get a new pump. Anyway any advice would be helpful.

Thank you for your advice. I got it working but it did not drain until low for a week or two. Then suddenly its always lower then usual. I hope its draining and not leaking. I will wait until a rain. Thanks for you help in Cape Cod.

Check the connections in the float switch (sensor). Give it a bang it may be stuck

You may be able to put the pump lower in the sump, I don't know of a way to adjust it though. It makes contact as it falls to a certain angle, give it a look, maybe you'll see something.

My Flotec Model FPSC3200H-01 1/2hp sump pump stopped working. The motor hums but impeller will not turn.

Well I know it a dirty job but someone has to did. Unhook the pump from the plumbing and take the pump out so you can see what fell into the sump pit and is lodged in the impellers.
If you have it out already turn the impiller backwords and see if that frees it up.

My dog chewed the power cord off my FPOS1800A-08 submersible pump, From whom do I order a new cord.

After searching, a clear answer was found ... if the cord replacement exists, it costs a lot.
Flotec has a contact-us form that requires your personal information
http://www.flotecpump.com/

That being said, flotec FPOS thermoplastic sump pumps have pdf parts list.
Parts list shows cord as replacement part.
http://www.flotecpump.com/
However, I don't see the FPOS1800 listed

Flotec sell sheet shows FPOS1800 but does not show parts

Website below sells flotec parts
http://www.pumpagents.com/FlotecPumps/flotec-pump-part-list.html
Random cordset price-check shows $46 for a cord
Another cord was $80
Another cord was unknown

Pumb only pumps a small amount out of the basin. Float needs adjusting to go all the way down and empty the basin. How do you adjust the float/bulb to travel farther down without shutting off after only a...

Flotec website shows several submersible sump pumps, and pump types:
http://www.flotecpump.com/asp/productapplication.asp?AId=28

Click product, then click on 'parts and literature' to access manual
Here is a Flotec manual:
http://www.flotecpump.com/pdf/FP525%2811-1-06%29.PDF

Manual for this type of sump pump says:
Quote from manual: Automatic float switch is sealed and factory adjusted for
most home sumps. Turn-on water level is 10" - 12" above
pump base. Turn-off water level is 4" - 6".

The manual also says that running the pump when dry will ruin the seals.
This implies that the water level setting is set so the seals will not be damaged

You might be able to dig the sump deeper, but I don't know if that meets your objective.
