Problem for GE Spacemaker (JVM1640SJ) Microwave Oven

The keypad does not work.

The keypad does not work. The display screen says "Press -----k". I'm assuming it's telling me to press clock to set time. But none of the keys work when I press any. Earlier only the Start/Pause key worked, now nothing is working.

try powering down for 30 seconds. if that doesn't work the keypad is shorted or open. do not spray cleaner directly onto key pad when cleaning. it will short it out. rather spray cleaner onto a rag then wipe.
