You need to be a bit more specific. I presume the password you are entering is the WEP or WPA one. First thing is to check that you are entering the precise type of password WEP WPA TKIP etc. If you can then connect to the wifi you then need to connect to the network check the TCP/IP settings in the Network configuration settings for the Wireless Network Adaptor - easiest way is choose a number in the same range as your router but a lot higher say 192.168.1.100 and try DNS as 126.96.36.199 and 188.8.131.52
