Question about Heating & Cooling
Have 1984 Trane Home A/C Central Heat & Air Unit. Have no manuals for this. Need to clean cooling coils inside house. Unit is with the heater fan blower unit. Can't see a model #. Outside Unit is model BTD730A100A00 date 05/1984, Inside # on heater part is BLU055E936B1.
The best thing to do it with airhandler shut down at breaker. 1st soften dirt and crud with 409 or different brand. 2nd take a wire brush and clean in up and down motion following the fins on coil.3rd rinse with spray bottle . this is the best you can do without coil removal.
