Question about Apple aluminum 13-inch MacBook laptop- Intel 2.1GHz l Core 2 Duo, 1GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 320 GB HD, ... Mac Notebook
One day i left my macbook charging overnight like any other day but it wasn't shut down but i've done it before. I woke up and opened the screen and clicked the volume controls. But increasing the volume would bring up my dashboard, lowering the volume hides all windows and muting displays all the windows i have open. Also the brightning buttons dot do anything at all. I check system preferences, keyboard settings and restored default even though ive never changed anything. Nothing changes. Ive restarted my macbook but still the same problem. I have to manually adjust the volume now and have no idea how to adjust the brightness.
There are options in System Preferences :: Sound for a volume slider in the menu bar and in Displays for the brightness slider. This can get you by but your keys seem to be remapped--check Keyboard & Mouse that your shortcuts are not changed and you are not using them for F1.... (Restore should have fixed that.) -Ken
