Ip adress keeps timing out

what is happening is that you are too far away from where ever you are conecting to and when it disconects it times itself and then when it can't re-connect in this time it tells you the Ip adress has timed out! So the best thing to do is get closer to there hub or whatever you are conecting to and it shouldn't say it again.

bro you will need to change your wep code even if you know the correct one i think it is becuse it allows other devices or somthing to conecte through to change your wep code do the following

1 open internet broser

2 type in the bar (http://192.168.0.1) tuyp tthis in for D-link routers. for Netgear routers type(http://192.168.1.1) as for Belkin routers type (http://192.168.2.1) if you have a diffrent router you are going to have to shearch it on google.

3 ok now when you put in the routers address in the address bar and press enter this parssword/user name thing will pop up you will net to enter (admin) this is the defalt for most routers if you have a difrent router look in the instruction manal or somthing. if you have changed it and you can nto remeber it ring your brodband support.

4 ok now your in your routers seetings change your wep code then reenter the same thing on your psp.

ok some times this will not work and the (ip address thing has timed out) thing will be starting to really **** you off ok this is what you do.

5 go to the start botton in the bottem right coner and click on this then you will need to click on run let it pop up and in the bar type (cmd) this will bring the comarnd promt up if you have vista just go all programs then to asseories then the comarnd promt.

6 once you have ented in (cmd) click on enter and the command promt will pop up in there just type (ipconfig/all) then it will come up with a bunch of informatin on your router.

7 go on your psp and go to ip settings click on manal and enter in the settings that the command promt are telling you.

note: make sure you dont use yuor proxy setings this secrew up thes all way of doing it.


then you are all done and this should work!!!!!!!
