I have one of these decoders and it was working well, but the input 3.5mm jack has become 'crackly' and disconnected from the circuit board. But I can't figure out how to dismantle the unit so that I can resolder the jack. There are no visible screws or locking tabs visible. The unit appears to be made of two pieces clipped together, there is a join line around the sides but it is very strongly locked together and I don't want to break it. I have searched the web for details but no luck so far. Any Help appreciated.
-   HI I have these headsets and I am trying to fit 3.5mm jacks, so that I can use them with a beltpack, can you tell me the colours for what goes where in the jack, many thanks -   Guest

You can slide a flat screwdriver underneath the black faceplate and prise it up; it is glued on and will stick back down easily on its own. The screws you need to access are underneath.
