My 260 is way off on time of arrival by many hours.

When i select a destination to go to, the estimated arrival time is many hours longer than it should take. it slowly takes a minute off every few seconds but for a 25 minute trip , it doesnt get the right arrival time before you get there. i have checked the time zone and clock setting and they seem ok

When was the last time you updated the GPS firmware?
Sounds like that is the problem.

...a time zone question

The estimate arrival time is the time in that time zone so you'll have to adjust you time piece accordingly. If you have a cell phone, it'll adjust on its own within minutes once you power it up.

I want to change my airport on my Jet Blue reservation.

I booked my flight to depart from (EWR) on Aug. 12, 2014 with Delta #2142 at 7:30 pm and by mistake to arrive at (CME) on Aug. 13, 2014 at 3:41 pm. I must change the destination or arrival information to (CUN). My departure information must also be changed from (CUN) on Aug. 17, 2014 to (EWR). The change is within 24 hours. I tried to reach you by phone but the office was closed please respond. Thank you very much.

Hello. Everytime I plug in a destination that is preprogrammed in my favorites, my Garmin calculates the estimated arrival time hour away, althought the distance time is not more that 15 min. What is going...

Your unit is probably set for a time in a different time zone..... not sure on your model but if you can follow how mine works you may get to it....

I have to go to Tools..... Settings..... Time ...press time zone and make sure your time zone is selected

When you have the screen showing up the route to your destination, if you touch the box down in the left hand corner showing the estimated arrival time the screen should switch to show your current speed, max speed, compass etc.........
