Ibanez AEL2012E If I leave the double A batteries in, they run down ... fast

The batteries are turned on by the guitar cable being plugged in. If they run down with the cable out, the contact of the "ring" part of the jack is shorting. The "ring" contact is shorted to the sleeve contact to turn on the battery. If you leave your guitar cable in for a day or two, the batteries will run down.

I HAVE A NEW SHOPRIDER SCOOTIE 4 WHEELS . I CHARGE THE BATTERY AND HAS A BEEPING NOISE . IT WONT RUN AT ALL. LOOKING AT THE BATTERY POWER LIGHT AND IT DRAINS FAST

Rickie If you count the number of beeps (4 beeps pause 4 beeps etc) this could tell you what error you are having. If it justs beeps with no pattern and your battery lights run down very fast then I think the batteries are one problem. Also check your charger to make sure that you are getting the correct voltage to your Batteries. You might want to ask a tech to check out the charger Hope this helps you

My battery dosent last 1 hr from full charge new comp. 2 days old

you posted this in the desktop section I am assuming that this might be for a laptop? If it is then you might have gotten a bad battery. This does not normally happen, but it is possible.

Another thing that could be affecting it is the power settings. If you have the power settings set to maximum, then they will drain your laptop battery super fast, and about an hour sounds normal.

Another factor that might run a battery down fast is heat. If a laptop is used without proper airflow underneath it, it will drain the battery fast also. To solve this, you can use your laptop on a flat smooth surface, like a desk or table, or invest in a USB laptop cooler pad.

Problem

How old is the battery? Have you let the battery run down completely and then fully charged it back up?
Was the phone a display model when you purchased it, or was it in an unopened box? How fast does the battery run down? Have you checked the owner's manual to see how much talk-time you get out of the fully-charged battery? Let me know... Thank you and hope to hear form you soon. billyho1977@FixYa

Battery runs down fast.

hello there....well its quite simple...

how old is your phone ?
i am assuming its an old phone so it is time to change the battery...you will see that batter is slightly puffed or out of shape ...in that case you should immediately change it

if its a new phone....then check if blue tooth is on or off....it should be off....and if you use the phone a lot then also the batter will run out in 3 hrs and 30 minutes of talk time...playing music as well as keeping the camera on for a long time will drain the batter

so it depends on how you use it ....if you have more question we will take it from there

Hope this help
Cheers

Nokia n81 running a new battery down in 6-8 hours on standby mode

Even if the battery is new, if it is not charged properly it can run down pretty fast. To reset the battery I recommend running the battery all the way down - charging the battery all the way back up to full - and then repeat. Also, make sure you do not charge the battery after it is full. Most phones or charge units have signals to tell you when the battery is fully charged. Do not charge the battery overnight.
These are the best ways to protect the life of a battery.

Screen Saver

well, i had the same phone and i found it best to just turn the screen saver off. then it doesn't pop up at all and the battery shouldn't get run down as fast.
