Unless you have bought the full version of Adobe Acrobat to use to edit the existing PDF file, then you will have to do one of the following to add a signature box to that PDF file:

1. Edit the PDF file in a different program that is capable of doing this, one such program that I use is Serif Page Plus which can import the PDF document into the Desktop Publishing program and then let you edit it then export it again as a PDF file.

2. The alternative method is to convert the PDF file to Microsoft Word format, add the signature box in Word, then convert / print to PDF.
Wondershare PDF to Word will do the first part.
Kingsoft Office Suite 2012 Free is a good free alternative to Word if you don't have it.
Bullzip PDF Printer will allow you to print the modified Word document as a PDF file again.
All three of the above programs are free.
