My daughters manual does not reference which fuse is for the cruise control. I also can not find any detailed digrams or trouble shooting steps to help me determine what the problem is and how to fix the problem. all the help I can get whould be wonderful.

Thank you ahead of time.

In case anyone else needs this: I found my cable had just disconnected from the eye...nothing was even broken, its just a slip on...so I slipped it back on & it works fine now.

The problem is more likely the cruise cable its self. if you pull the engine cover you will probably fine the cable has fallen off at the throttle body. the only way to fix this problem is to go to the dealer and buy a new cable.

I have a mazda tribute and something has shorted out. The radio, power door locks and the overhead light has stopped working. I took it to a mechanic who checked all the fuses and they were good. He...

Everything you said has stopped working is controlled by the body control module or as Mazda/ Ford calls it a general electronic module(GEM). If the fuses are good may need to hook up to a scan tool to see if the GEM is working and controlling outputs to these problems.

Need to know what fuse to replace for cruise control on 2004 mazda tribute

The first things to check is make sure all your fuses are good a teslight is a great tool for this, check out www.testlight.com. after checking fuses next is to open the hood and check the connection to cruise head andd then make sure the cable from the cruise to throtlebody is connected, this is where i would start,if the fuses are good and the connection is good and the unit is connected to throtle linkage then i would check the switch and the cruise stop switch which is located on the brake pedal braket and sometimes runs off brake light switch, hope this helps. good luck.

My daughter's 2003 Mazda Tribute sometimes won't stay running. It will start but when you take your foot off the gas it stalls. She's had it towed home and then it starts right up!

if when running it runs well apart from idle problem i would suggest you have the throttle body and idle speed control valve cleaned out and add a fuel system cleaner to fuel tank also check wireing to idle speed control valve

The cruise control is not working 2002 Mazda Tribute

you have a bad cruise cable, this is a very common problem with the tribute. just go to your local dealer and have them replace it for you, it only takes about 30 minutes to do
