My Goldstar 3850A20500F Dehumidifier is stuck at low fan, 55%, 2-hour on/off cycle since I'm unable to change any setting through the control panel buttons. When I took out the PCB, it showed corrosion from water due to a poor design. I have it running with the PCB external to the unit, but even after cleaning with a contact cleaner spray, there was no improvement. I have also been unable to find a replacement PCB for it (Part # 6870A901606)
The only company, if the parts were available at all, that would have them, would be dey distributing in duluth mn, phone 218-723-1626. give them the part number and they'll look it up for you. All of my available sources tell me the part is no longer available, so you may have to replace the unit if dey can't help you. try purchasing a kenmore, they seem to work fairly well.
