Hello Lindsay
Nothing to worry about.
You can double click on the connection icon (by your clock), and select Network connections.
Then locate the Wireless icon and right click on it.
Disable it.
Then repeat the last operation, and this time choose Enable.
The connction will refresh, and you should be surfing in no time.

The Dell Latitude E6400 laptop comes with an Intel Core 2 Duo processor for fast computing and an NVIDIA graphics card for video playback, gaming and Web browsing. The laptop has a built in Wi-Fi card, letting you connect to the Internet on-the-go. However, if you're unfamiliar with Dell or the laptop's factory installed Windows Vista operating system, you might not know how to enable to Wi-Fi.

Slide the switch on the side of the laptop toward the front of the laptop. This switch enables Wi-Fi connectivity on the Dell Latitude E6400. When switched into the back position, the Wi-Fi is turned off. Turn on your Dell Latitude E6400 laptop and log into Windows Vista. Click on the Windows "Start" button. Click on "Wireless," located in the Start menu's "Show" list. A list of currently broadcasting wireless networks appears on screen. With your Wi-Fi enabled, you can connect to any of these available networks. Secured networks ask you for a password when you click "Connect," while unsecured networks connect automatically.

Can't get connected to internet.

Hi, you can try to renew the network driver from here:

http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&ServiceTag=&SystemID=INS_PNT_P4_9400&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid=

The driver has to be unziped before installation.

Check also your internet connection for fault wireless or lan.

Are the router or dial up set to on ?

Check also firewall and antivirus settings.

If you are useing dial up connection check for fault.

Hope this will help you.

My wireless is not working Fujitsu intel core 2 duo inside windows

It is necessary to diagnose the problem and its source. 1. Can you connect to a different router? Free wifi at Wendy's etc.? 2. Can you get a connection if you plug into the router directly with a cat 5 cable?
If you answered yes to these two then the problem lies in your connection to the internet at the router level. If the answer is no then check to see if you are getting any signal strength. It could be that the device is disabled, that the antennae has broken or there is a problem with your wireless password.

hard to answer your question without knowing what Operating System you have on your PC and laptops connections, eg. LAN, wireless etc.

If you have windows XP you will need to check Network Connections on your laptop to make sure the Internet connection is showing as connected.

Click on Start - Control Panel -- network connections.

Check if Internet gateway is setup

If not go to Internet Options in Control Panel and setup the Internet connection using the right buttons.

I cannot guide you if you have Vista or Win 7.

Something wrong with software causing wireless connection issues

Make sure you are using the application that came with your computer to work with the wireless card. The windows embedded application is a generic program. The application that comes with your computer/wireless card will work better or is made to work with that adapter. You can turn off the windows wireless zero configuration by going to:

Start -> Run -> Type "services.msc" hit enter

Scroll down to the bottom and right click on Wireless Zero Configuration and click Stop.

Use the Intel PROset Wireless application which are used in most Dells.

If you are stilling having problems, try uninstalling the PROset Wireless Application, Updating the Wireless Drivers and Reinstalling the PROset Wireless App.
