Question about Office Equipment & Supplies

My ML-2010 will not print. Each time I try to print a document the On Line/Error green light blinks but when I check my printer box there is nothing there for it to print. Then the green light on the printer stops blinking. I can hit the cancel gray button for a few minutes and the printer will print information about the computer.

You need to isolate the problem, please follow the steps below:

If you're using Windows XP or Vista:

1. Control Panel > Printers and Faxes or Printers (for Vista)
2. Make sure that the printer is set as the default printer.
3. Check the status of the printer and make sure that it is 'Ready'.
4. Right-click the printer icon and then go to the Properties.
5. Click on 'Ports' tab and select USB001 Virtual Printer Port
5. Click on Apply and be sure that the printer name would appear right-next to the Virtual Printer Port after hitting Apply. Then click OK.
6. Be sure that there are no pending documents on the queue.
7. Try to print.

If you get the same problem, go back to the printer properties and then select other USB00...Virtual Printer Ports.

Online error light nothing prints


I have a ML 1710 .Not my area of expertise but I took out the paper and could not see a jam. Took toner out , a little cleaning, plugged and unplugged from computer several times. I found paper jammed in the very back ,folded so tight nothing was showing. Mine has a back door and the paper is having trouble rounding the last bend and coming out. So I leave the back door open to get my copies. Green light on.

your printer is not inisilize properly. it is a logic card problem.so pls you can repaired it from printer vendor.

Your system has some problems. If this problem occurs,
contact your service representative.
On Line/Error LED
lights red
• Paper jam occurs. To solve the problem, see “Clearing
Paper Jams” on page 5.6.
• The front cover is open. Close the front cover.
• Paper tray is empty. Load the paper in the Tray.
• The toner cartridge is out of toner. Remove the old toner
cartridge and install a new one. See “Installing the Toner
Cartridge” on page 2.4.
• You pressed the Cancel button while the printer is
receiving data.
• In Manual Feed mode, there is no paper in the manual
tray. Load paper into the manual tray.
• If the printer is receiving data, the On Line/Error LED
slowly blinks green.
• If the printer is printing the received data, the On Line/
Error LED blinks green fast.

Do you have a paper jam? If nothing is wrong it may be internal hardware error. Call Samsung for help.
