Question about Pioneer DEH-P80MP CD Player
I checked the fuses etc and no luck. The unit didn't want to turn on withiut restarting the ignition for last few weeks and now is dead. Only ejecting the disc and lowering the faceplaqte is not a problem, rest of the buttons and faceplate light don't work.
I see there was somebody having the same problem, so it is common failure I'd say.
The only thing what paid my attention was the wire tape between the unit and the bracket, which looks weird, like broken in a half. Not sure if this is a problem.
Can this be fixed?
Try this take ur stereo out and connect ur power and contant together. than go to ur car baterry and connect the red with the constant to the positive and the bleck to ur negative in ur batery and if it turns on than u r missing a connection on ur hook up test first if it dont work than its defected if it does work make sure u have the consant conected too and a good ground
