Replaced the MAF sensor - nothing. Took it to a authorized toyota shop & checked compression which check out good and put the computer on. Computer read mis-fire on cylinder 1, and then multiple misfire (like it would jump around). We went ahead and replaced the fuel injector on cylnder 1 - did not solve problem as when we hook the computer up, misfire seemed tp stay at idle and seem better when running high RMP, but check engine light is on as it never went away. Went ahead and replaced the coil pack to cylinder 1 - nothing. what am i missing?

On start pump runs for 2 secs then nothing for a min then try's again. spin end light lit

sounds like the timing control connections are worn or dirty. i would unplug it or flip the breaker, and look there first. check for continuity on the various contact points with a multimeter. Red wire/probe of the meter goes on the black or "line in" " "120V". this tells you if it is making good contact as the timer control spins around.

Recently purchased a Sony Bravia KDL37EX403 1080p 100HZ flat screen tv. The picture seems to be poorly defined, almost pixelated around the edges of figures and letters - sport is almost unwatchable with...

Your old TV was most likely a SD (Standard Definition) TV. SD signals look better on SD TV sets than they do on HD TV sets. This is normal. If you will, imagine having a tiny wallet photo reprinted as an 8"x10" photo. The image would be grainy and not have the crispness of the original. This is the same principle. Your SD source is being blown up to fill an HD screen. Once you add HD to your programming, the old TV will be forgotten. I hope this was helpful.

My picture is smaller than the screen size.

Dear User,

This usually happens by selecting the wrong screen resolution or the resolution not supported by your Monitor.
However you can solve this by getting into the "Safe Mode" .
  1. Press the 'F8' key just before the windows logo appears.
  2. It presents a Menu with various options.
  3. Select 'Safe Mode'.
  4. You can now use your monitor here
  5. Now login as usual.
  6. Right click on the Desktop and go to Properties. In Setting use the lowest screen resolution. Click on Apply - OK.
  7. Restart your system properly.
  8. And you find everything OK again.

Thanks

Green (power on) light continuously blinking/set won't turn on

This set was designed in such a way that when it is unplugged and plugged back in the LED will blink for around 90 seconds and then stop. During that time you cannot turn the set on. This is the amount of time it takes for the Digital Module to boot up. These units have a problem with some capacitors going bad in the Digital Module and when that happens the LED never stops blinking. You need to contact a qualified repair shop to get it repaired. I have repaired many and the cost is around $250 to $350 depending on where you live. That set is well worth the repair cost.

Timing

The engine computer uses the spout connector to change engine timing for various conditions. With the spout connector disconnected, the base timing should be set to 10* BTDC. Various things could be causing your problem. You need to get the codes read to find the cause. Most parts store will read the codes for you. It can be run with it disconnected, but will affect preformance and mpg, as there will be no timing advance.

Have you checked your cables? Start resetting one unit at a time until you isolate the culprit. Don't forget the simple unplug all units to let them reset. .

You think I have fun when something hiccups? A software snaffu? Bad a/v cable? Loose speaker wire? By the way-my online support is getting better and better. Charter cable has live chat, as does Sony and Motorola. Good luck. Also, I can't think of a single setting I've changed with the Panny. other than assigning digital audio out settings. DEcoder setting? Your Panny?

LCD Screen jumps around after 2 minutes of use. It does not effect the end result though. I also notice an opaque pixel wave that cuts across the screen at all times. This started happening about 2 months...

When you say the screen jumps around -I assume you mean the image not the actual screen it self. There are so many model out there it is impossible to be definitive. Try both of these 1. check the manual out and see if there is a 'Reset to factory setting' mode If not check out the Olympus Technical Help team at the Olympus web site. I have heard it said that the U.S. Olympus are not very helpful ,so if you can, try to locate Olympus Europe [based in Germany] I is almost certainly not a 'repair option,
