GPRS HelloI have K1 phone, i have been trying to get internet, every time is saying no gprs signal and i cant connect. How do i get this and does my phone have this and how do i set it up. I am with Vodafone. The manual is not helpfulPlease help im gettign very impatient.Thank You Jodie

Check the settings in usb/bluetooth settings. Ensure the gprs device connected to the computer perfectly.And ensure the access points are to be right filled in computer

First download Motorola Phone tools on the computer.
Open the phone tools, click on internet - go to APN and type in aircelgprs and try getting connected. It should work.

hi.. the problem is that some model of mobile phones wont support GPRS.. so its better u purchase a mobile which supports GPRS and then u can enjoy that facility..

If you have GPRS settings enabled in your mobile, then only you can connect to internet. You need to first configure your GPRS settings i,e you have to specify server name, access point and etc. Contact your service provider for GPRS settings.

hey nantmel, try look for SETTING (tabs or icons), then try look for CONNECTION, there will be INTERNET CONNECTION or ACCESS POINT, try to look for an option 'CONNECT WHEN AVAILABLE' and 'CONNECT WHEN I NEED IT', as your case, your phone might be turned to 'connect when available', that's why whenever gprs is available, it keeps on connecting, try choose the other option, TURN to CONNECT WHEN NEEDED. hopefully this solves ur problem ^^ thanks for sharing

yes, there is a stop watch in the phone and it might be working. then the gprs is the packet data service for connecting to the internet. for a valid connection u have to subscribe gprs from the service provider. to remove the icon from the screen, goto settings, connectivity, packet data, packet data connection and set it as connect when needed.(now it is set as connect always, that is why that icon is displayed). also stop the stop watch.

Hi Beba28, you can go to message menu and check the mms messages and then upload the picture to send mms messages for internet check the gprs services and then connect the gprs to connect to internet, once connected follow the instructions on screen.

your provider needs to activate your internet or WAP setting for you aswell these are 2 separate things
