I believe you must first remove the plastic cover that is snapped over the cylinder heads. Once removed the plugs are easily accessable.

1) Remove the plastic engine cover. It snaps off.

2) At that point the plugs should be visible. One plug at a time: Remove the spark plug wire, remove the old plug and install the new properly gapped plug, reattach the plug wire. Repeat the process for all the plugs.

3) Replace the plastic engine cover.

2005 equinox died n won't turn over again.

As with any no-start condition, you first need to know if it is no spark or no fuel.
You could try spraying carb cleaner or starting fluid into the air cleaner hose to check for no fuel. Or pull 2 or 3 plugs and check for spark.
Also take a look at the ECM for trouble codes.
It could be anything from a plugged fuel line to the gas tank to a bad relay to a dead ECM.

How do I replace spark plugs and wires on chevrolet equinox 2011 2.4 liter front wheel drive

First, I think it highly unlikely that a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox would be due for spark plugs yet. They only have to be changed every 100,000 miles.

Second, you could spend the rest of your life trying to change the spark plug wires on that vehicle and never accomplish it. 2011 Chevrolet Equinox is not equipped with spark plug wires.

Then, if the spark plugs were somehow in need of replacement at this time, I highly recommend that you do not try this at home unless you have access to compressed air to clean the debris out of the spark plug tubes. Otherwise, severe engine damage can occur. (I have replaced many cylinder heads because of DIYers attempting to change their own spark plugs without the proper methods and equipment.)

With all that said, you must remove the ignition coils to get to the spark plugs.

WhaT IS THE EASIEST WAY TO CHange the back spark plugs on a 2005 chevrolet equinox?

The easiest way to change the back plugs on a GM V6 is to pay someone else to do it. You need good light, good tools, lots of various extensions, swivels, and universals. A good vocabulary of curse words also comes in handy.

Car problem

What does your spark plug look like when you took it out? Was it black/fouled out? If so, you may have bad rings on that piston/cylinder allowing crankcase oil into your cyclinder, thus fouling out your plug.
