I keep finding holes in my t-shirts and other jersey clothing, i lost a bra wire in the washing machine a while ago is there any way to get to the outside of the drum? i think if i can get the wire out it...

It is very difficult to get the outside of the drum. The revolving drum is put inside a watertight drum. This drum supported with shock absorbers, front door opening with gasket. To balance the movements heavy counter weights are attached to it. To get outside of the revolving drum, it is necessary to open the front opening, remove the gasket. Hence it is difficult. To do all this two people are necessary. The best way could be find out the one end of the wire, if you can & pull it firmly by using a nose plier.

Not printing on left side of page

The problem is that the revolving drum doesn't contact the OPC drum proberly. You have to open the left side off the machine and replace the little white gear on the shaft that drive revolving drum. The gear has "jumped"one step and the revolving drum isn't parallell to the OPC drum. I fixed my 2840 last night it takes some time but now it works perfect.

Henry, its going to be 1 of 2 things. Check inside your drum, see if the vent in the rear has burning or discoloration around it. If it does, it sounds as if your vent is restricted causing the unit to overheat, so clean/fix/replace the venting and your support pulleys will need to be repalce ie flat spots from overheat. If there is no scoarching marks and you know its not the vent or heat issue, the drum seam may have parted causing the thump as every revolution is made.

Noisy Gas Dryer

possible problems are 1.) drum rollers are bad. These support the back of the drum and allow it to roll freely. 2.) Tension pulley that keeps tension on the belt could be bad. This shouldn't be a difficult problem to diagnose or an expensive one to fix if you do it yourself.
