Water inside the refrig under the crispers which is leaking onto the floor

The door closes and the seal is good. There was quite a bit of water under the crispers which caused it to overflow onto the floor. Refrig in the same place for several years so we assume that it is level because this is the first time that this has happened. The drainage pan under is dry.

When water is leaking inside of your refrigerator, the problem could be as simple as condensation from humidity or a worn gasket, especially since you purchased your refrigerator used. The problem could also be a clogged drain or frozen evaporator.

Water leaking onto the floor and down the back of refrigerator to the bottom under the vegetable crispers?

You have a problem with the auto defrost drain system.Carefully take off the cover by the light and control and see if you can clean out the drain. Sometimes you can get to it from behind the refrig. but that means you have to move the refrig out from the wall.Hope you find this helpful.

Water comes off somewhere in the bottom of my fridge. what could have caused it?

When your refrig goes into defrost , the water runs down the back of the refrig ( inside ) and out to the drip pan thru a drain hole under the crispers . If water is under the crispers , remove the crispers and you should see a " cap " covering the drain hole . Sometimes crud will cover the slots where the water is supposed to drain , causing water to pool under the crispers . Just remove this cap , clean , and reinstall .
