Open the freezer evaporator.Check it if it turns by hand.means not stuck due to ice.If turning disassemble. If it is ac fan check the ohmic resistance if you read a value then power supply can be defect.Otherwise replace the fan with a similar one.

Usually, the freezer knob just adjusts the airflow from the freezer to the freshfood section. The refigerator control turns the unit on and controls temperature. When unit is running, do you hear the fan running in the freezer? The fan forces air to the refigerator section. If not, probably bad fan motor. If it is, do you see frost build up on the back wall of freezer section? If so this would indicate a defrost problem, ice build up on evaperator blocking airflow to refrigerator section. You cleaned the condenser, Was the condenser fan running? Defrost causes. Defrost thermostat, heater, defrost timer. Good luck.

AMANA SIDE BY SIDE, INOP, FREEZER COILS ICE, FAN INOP IN FREEZER. REPLACED THERMOSTAT, DEFROST TIMER AND FAN, STILL INOP. HEATER WORKS AND HAS 32 OHMS.

Check the BLUE wire from the temp control to the ORANGE wire of the defrost timer for continuity. That is the complete fan circuit. You should read the resistance of the Evap fan motor. If you do not read resistance suspect the pins of the evap fan motor connector or... the Unbilical harness from near the evap to the icemaker and the evap fan. The connector pins of the Evap fan motor connector (Freezer connector) are notorious for failing.

Zanussi integrated fridge freezer, top half fridge not working

It appears you need to get the cold distributed from the freezer section to the frig section. This can only be accomplished by a fan that forces the cold air throught openings between both sections. Since the freezer in at the bottom, cold air cannot go upward, thereforethe fan. Chech that the interior fan (in the freezer section) is running. Check that the air openings between the sections are not blocked. Finally, if all looks good, then maybe the compressor system is slowly failing and only making enough cold for the freezer, but not enough to be circulated. Goodluck, Macgivor

The missing fan noise is the clue; the fan that is responsible for circulating air between the two chambers has failed. Both may have cooling coils but a fan is responsible for balancing the temperature between the two and is even more important if the coils are exclusively located in the freezer chamber.
Unless it is still under warranty, it isn't necessary to wait on Sears service since they are independent contractors anyhow.
If you are in the US, check your local Better Business Bureau website to find a reliable service company. I'd bet you can find one much earlier than next month.

Hotpoint Mistral frost free fridge freezer.

This is a little hard for me to understand being a yank and all. 0C is 32 Fahrenheit, right so 4/5 is about 40? make sure everything is working, compressor , evaporator fan motor (the one inside) condenser fan motor (the one outside) if you have one. You should have an adjustment for freezer and one for the fridge sections, right. The fridge section controls what amount of cold air comes from the freezer compartment. Check the vents inside, make sure they are not blocked and they open and close when you adjust the control. If this all checks good then check the thermostat. If the compressor shuts off prematurely, then a new thermostat may be in order. If you think you can do this, find the thermostat, by-pass the wires. this will make the compressor run continuously. After 20 minutes or so it should make the desired temperature or close to it. None of the fans or compressor should turn off while this is by-passed.

Freezer inop; water dispenser inop

Refrig. cant work unless the freezer is working ...all cold in produced in freezer and circulated to refrig. check freezer for frost build up and if fan is blowing, check condenser, make sure its clean, and fan blowing, check vents in refrig. make sure no blockage, controls should be in the middle setting, check make sure compressor is running
