Question about Toro Lawn Mower With Toro Power Tools
Toro 2008 self-propelled electric mower starts great but immediately white smoke billows from front of mower. As soon as the blade control bar is touches the handle the mower cuts off. As long as the blade is not engaged, mower will continue to run, and smoke. Suggestions?
Sounds like a low compression problem. The piston rings have most likely failed and oil is seeping past them and burning, thus the white smoke. An engine needs three things to run...Spark, Compression, and Fuel. Just take the mower back as it is still probably under warranty. Mike. Rate 100% please.
