Question about Refrigerators
I have a refrigerator that is 16 years old and in good condition. Never have had a problem but this morning everything was warm and the freezer was cold. There was a little frost around the upper left back (damper or dumper). I removed the front and cleaned the condenser (filthy). It took all day but seems back to normal temp. Shoud I still have technician come out or do you think by cleaning condenser my problem is solved?
The ice could be related to a defrost problem. Check the back wall of the freezer for ice buildup. The evaporator coils are behind it and if iced heavily will block the circulation of cold air.
