Good Morning Friend, this is Z. I appreciate your post!
From what you have described, it sounds like your washer cannot properly drain and dispose of the water and detergent solution. Does your washer make a humming noise? If so, the drainage hose/pump may be clogged and needs to be cleaned. If not, your appliance may possibly be experiencing an issue with the door lock assembly, faulty pump, timer or control board not communicating correctly. In this case, because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend contacting a professional to properly diagnose and repair your washer. Best!

There is an auxiliary switch in the door lock and switch assembly that
is activated at the end of the wash cycle for the machine to advance to the spin cycle.
This is a safety feature to prevent the door from opening during the spin cycle and the machine will not spin unless the switch is activated. The machine works except advancing to the spin cycle and this signifies
that the auxiliary switch cannot be activated and the door lock and
switch assembly is faulty. Replaced the door lock and switch assembly
(part #131763202) to address the issue.
Disconnect power to the
machine. Open the washer door then look for the retaining hoop securing
the door seal around the lip of the door opening. Stretch the retainer
spring of the door seal retaining hoop then remove it.
Carefully
peel off part of the door seal from the lip of the door opening near the
door lock and switch assembly. Remove enough of the door seal to gain
access to the door lock and switch assembly.
Remove the screws
securing the door lock and switch assembly to the front panel. Once the
screws are removed, lift the door lock and switch assembly then pull it
away from the front panel.
Take the door lock and switch assembly
out of the machine. Disconnect the electrical connections then
connect it to the new door lock and switch assembly.
Put the new
door lock and switch assembly back into position in the front panel and
secure it with the securing screws.
Properly put the eased part
of the door seal back over the lip of the door opening then secure it
with the retaining hoop.

My Affinity washer quit spinning during the rinse cycle 14 months after we purchased the machine. We checked to make sure ithe drain was clear, and we tried changing the size of the loads. Nothing we tried worked. I was not getting any error codes on the control panel. We called a technician out to our house to see if it could be fixed. He diagnosed the problem as the control panel. We called Frigidaire to see if they would help us out with the cost of the repair since the machine was only 14 months old, even though our one year warranty had expired. They stated that they would not cover the replacement of the control panel. After the technician replaced the control panel and tried the machine, it still did not work. He called the Frigidaire tech support to find out why, and they told him that he needed to replace the door latch system, not the control panel. After he replaced the door latch the machine worked fine. When researching this problem online, I discovered that Frigidaire has had several problems with the door latch system on their front loading washing machines. They previously had a class action lawsuit due to this problem. When I found this out, I called Frigidaire to see if they would pay the repair bill we had incurred, even though our warranty had expired 2 months ago. After they contacted the technician that worked on our machine, Frigidaire decided that they would pay the cost of the replacement door latch and the labor fee. We had to pay for the cost of the initial service call. If you are having this problem, I would suggest that you contact Frigidaire. They will require that you have a diagnosis made by a certified technician. According to our technician, the flow chart for the Frigidaire front loading machines is inaccurate, so if they make an initital diagnosis of a faulty control panel you may want to have them contact Frigidaire tech support to double check the diagnosis. Frigidaire may help cover the cost of repair if your machine has a problem with the door latch.

OK please find above a service and repair manual and a DIY washer self help site, with all this and the troubleshooting procedures in the manuals you should be able to isolate and repair.
Hey friend, thank you for allowing me to assist you!
It is normal to have water in the tub after your Frigidaire washer has completed the final spin cycle. The water that is in the tub is there to help prime the pump. Hope this information is helpful. -Matt
