SOURCE: Our blast freezer continues to frost up inside

Defrost termination is not working it should be terminating on temp. its terminating on time if it is a small blast freezer their is a high limit switch not opening. if you can adjust the time average defrost time 25-40 minutes try decreasing by 5 minutes no less than 20 minutes you will need to make sure that the coil clears after defrost.

SOURCE: Admiral upright freezer dripping water inside on top

Hello.
I can help. Once we notice anything different from before we start becoming more aware of small variations. Regarding things on the top shelf warmer than on the bottom, this is always true because, "warm air rises and cold air falls". If you want the top shelf colder turn the thermostat to the next colder setting, always a good idea in the Summer season anyway.

Even though your gasket looks good, a ten year old gasket is not as pliable as a new one resulting in the moisture problem you describe. I would begin by applying a thin coating of vaseline to the gasket once a week for a month. This little trick of the trade will often work. If it doesn't improve the situation do replace the gasket.

How do you make a freezer frost free?

Frost free means that the evaporator coil will not accumulate a thick layer of frost. It will not prevent frost from accumulating on the walls of the freezer. To slow down the amount of frost build up inside the freezer, do not keep the freezer door open for any longer than necessary. The freezer door seal may be defective. This would allow moisture in that would freeze on the inside walls. A heater with timed intervals to come on is one way for a frost free feature. But this will not work for frost build up on the inside walls of the freezer. It would only melt the frost and then it would refreeze again.

I need a manual for Frigidaire LFFH2067DW2

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that you are in need of a manual for your Frigidaire freezer, model# LFFH2067DW2. I also see it is barely cold inside your appliance and the door is easy to open. I would suggest contacting the manufacturer for a copy of the owner's manual. In regards to your freezer being barely cool and the door opening easily, it sounds like the seal might possibly be compromised. I suggest checking the seal of the door, making sure that it is not damaged in any way. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

MY FREZER HAS FROST AROUND THE DOOR AND MOLD IS GROWING AROUND IT

You need to replace the door gasket. It's leaking air causing the frost.

Freezer Door

Defrost to get rid of icicles (temporarily). shut the door on a piece of paper , and try to pull it out . The gasket should be tight enough with the door closed that the paper will resist being pulled out, or not come out at all. Check all around the door, it might be bad in just a small area. A bad gasket means warm air enters, cold are exits, and where the two meet, condensation forms, which inside become stalagtites (I mean icicles). The service guy should have checked it, but hey, who would expect a new appliance not to work properly? If the gasket checks out ok, maybe insulation was not installed properly in the door, which would cause temp variation. countrycurt0

Not all shelves freezing Alarm on

If this is not a frost free unit. I say replace it. I don't believe in recharging a deep freeze. You can never really trust them again. The food inside is worth more than the freezer. If this is a frost free unit, See if the fan inside is working. This can also be a defrost system proplem such as a timer and well worth fixing.
