Help! I tried to download new songs into my SanDisk Sana MP3, however it could not download because it would say that my MP3 was full, that there was no space. How can that be if i deleted all my songs?

Re: Help!

You may need to format, formatting should fix this problem instead of just deleting the songs.

To format follow these simple steps below:

First go to "My Computer" - now look for your mp3 player usually named under for example "Removable Disk F", when you've found it "Right-Click" on it then click on "Format", when format is complete try after that.

Any further problems leave a comment on this page and i will get back to you.

Good luck. Hope my solution was helpful.

Re: 500 songs, all gone but wont allow other downloads, "to full"

Use settings "format" on mp3 player. This will delete any hidden files. If you download in one format (say like Ubuntu) and delete them under another (say Windows), files can remain in *.trash which is hidden. To avoid this in the future, try deleting with shift+del as it will bypass the trash folder.

Format your player and it'll erase all the files that it's reading. I had the same issue and when I formatted it again it erased whatever it was reading.

How do you put songs on to a sana M250 mp3 ?

The SanDisk Sansa m200 cooperates well with Windows Media Player 10 and subscription-based applications such as Napster To Go; it works without a hitch via drag and drop in Windows Explorer, even automatically organizing your files.

My sandisk sansa clip mp3 player does not play songs/no sound.

I later found out that while trying to download more songs, the entire songs in my sandisk mp3 was corrupted by a virus. I solved the problem by formatting the device and thereafter downloaded new songs into it. As soon as I did that, the songs started playing normally at full volume.
