Say there's a article on a web page that I click on and it downloads it at the top of the phone, I pull it down and click on the downloaded item to view it, I view it, and go come off it, the question is where is it stored, where does it go, do I need to download it every time I want to read it, or can it be saved somewhere for later reading?

Always use Download Manager to download anything from net except from sites like rapidshare,megaupload etc.They don't support Download Manager as they are file hosting server. 

I recommend you use "Orbit Download Manager" as it is completely free and it support video download from sites like youtube.com etc
