Question about D-Link DP-300U (DHDP300U) Print Server
Try this, it worked for my DP-300U.
password: SYSXXXX (Where XXXX is the last four digits of the MAC address, which can seen on the underside of the server)
I learned this from viaujoc- (http://www.fixya.com/support/t224263-dp301p_psadmin_password_forgoten). On that post he also suggests a way of extracting the forgotten password from a configuation backup file.

You can solve this problem with microsoft's network monitor program which you ban download from the web.
1) Install the network monitor and connect the print server with power off.
2) Select the local area network in the monitor program and start the capture.
3) Power the print sever up and after a few seconds stop the capture.
you should see something like this
3 0.000000 PS-D82AB6 PS-D82AB6 ARP ARP: Request, 192.168.16.100 asks for 192.168.16.100

The first line shows the ID of the print server ID = PS-D + last five digits of the serial number of the unit
(in case you have multiple units)
YOU will also see the current IP setting ot the unit in the ARP request packet - mine in 192.168.16.100..

There should be a teensy little button on it somewhere, about the size of a pencil lead, that you push in and hold down for about 30 seconds to re-set it.

You will be having a reset button at the back panel, kindly hold the reset button for 2 to 5 secs and release it.Your router will be back to factory settings(i.e.,the password and the username will be admin).
Kindly check and revert back
