Try recycling the power, Unplugg the power cord wait at least 2 mins ant then plug back in. Some times by turning it off an on rapidly will cause the microprocessor to lock up or freeze. Much like a computer does when you have to reboot it..

the tv has been locked. use the user manual to tell you how to unlock. using the remote control.there is no problem inside your tv. it may have been locked because of a young child not to go into channels its a child lock

We have a Celestial TV and the remote has broken - just keep the tv on standby and when you want to turn it on hit one of the volume buttons.

Any ideas on where i could get a new remote - Do you know who the manufacturers of Celestial are?
