Noise when juicing...something needs attention!

Hello, we have been using the Samson and today when juicing carrots and apples it started making a squeeling sound inside of the machine...ever heard of that? Perhaps a part is worn...machine is about 1.5 yrs old...like a rubber bit? dont know...

turns out my husband examined it and the machine's outer bits that the attachments connect to was turning in a way that made a rubbing screeching sound..any suggestions as to how best to resolve before reattaching the bit?
