Switch does not turn on or off on hoover windtunnel u458-910

Hoover windtunnel switches can be easily replaced by your local Hoover/Dirt Devil dealer. Have them check the model and serial number to see if yours is under a recall for this issue. You may also have a mechanical plastic rod problem (this operates the switch).

Hoover windtunnel self-propelled - will not turn on

You probably need the switch replaced. It's fairly simple to do youself, and it is a known problem with these vacuums.
You can order the switch from hoover for about $10

Belt will not stay on hoover windtunnel s3765

The Hoover Windtunnel™ Self-Propelled models have two belts, a flat belt and the V-Belt. This V-Belt is the one that drives the Brush Roller. After about three months, most belts stretch out causing them to slip. This means the brushroll turns slower or not at all and the self-propelled becomes increasingly harder to push. It is recommended that both belts should be changed at the same time.

Hoover windtunnel..runs fine for 5 minutes then stops?

OK - sounds like your machine has a blockage somewhere. Follow manufacturer's instructions for clearing blockages and all should be well. If you no longer have the manual, you can download it from the Hoover website.
Good luck!
